The English league giants Manchester United finally have players with back number 10 after their young striker Marcus Rashford officially uses the jersey with the number starting this 2018-19 season.
Marcus Rashford began wearing United's jersey number 10 when Manchester United contested Bayern Munich in a preseason test match held at the Allianz Arena on Monday (6/8) early morning hrs.
In the match, Marcus Rashford played 63 minutes before he was pulled out and replaced by Timothy Fosu-Mensah. This is the first match of Marcus Rashford in the preseason after he got an additional holiday allowance for defending the England national team in the 2018 World Cup competition.
Before being used by Rashford, the last player to use Manchester United's jersey number 10 was Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He has used this number since his 2nd season at Old Trafford which only lasted half the season.
Before Ibrahimovic, number 10 had also long been used by Wayne Rooney bomber, from 2007 until he left Manchester United in 2017. In addition to these 2 players, number 10 on MU was also worn by several legendary Red Devils players such as Ruud van Nistelrooy, Teddy Sheringham up to David Beckham.
