CNN Indonesia - LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic assesses Liverpool star Mohamed Salah does not deserve the 2018 Puskas Award trophy for the goal he scored last season.

The 2018 Puskas Award assessment takes place in the period from 3 July 2017 to 15 July 2018. On 1 April 2018 when debuting with LA Galaxy Ibrahimovic scored a spectacular goal with a volley from a quarter of a field to Los Angeles FC. But the goal was not included in the Puskas Award nomination.
Ibrahimovic, who had played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, actually scored Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Juventus in the 2018 Champions League semifinals was considered better than Salah's curling kick from inside the penalty box. Judging from the level of difficulty, Ronaldo's goal was far more difficult than Salah's goal.
"I think Cristiano made a wonderful goal, but I didn't see the candidates, because if my goal wasn't there, I wasn't interested [commenting]," Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying by Givemesport.com.

The Swedish striker confidently called his goal against LAFC when he debuted with LA Galaxy deserving of the 2018 Puskas Award nomination.
"My goal against LAFC should be there, or you know my 500th goal [against Toronto]. Look, maybe my goal is there [nomination] next year," Ibrahimovic said. (sry / bac)
